I have a personal hairstylist. =D

My hair was so thick till Chai Lian could not tahan that she brave enough to volunteer herself to cut

 my hair...to be on the save side, she went to search the video of cutting hair in youtube..
So, i just got to buy a pair of scissor and the hair's clips only to have a a hair cut..

overall, chailian did a good job, i like it, just that the front of my hair too short and flat already...
because of that, my face look roound...everybody saw my hair ended up with a laugh...

haiz..wat to do, i m too entertaining already... =DD

some said they are not use to c my hair like this, some say not nice...

Nvm, the important thing is i m happy with it...
Learning to be secure of myself and don't care others's view
As long as i m satisfy and happy, and it do not hurt ppl eyes, then everything will be ok.

Learn to be contended and secure of myself. 

Do not focus on the outward appearance, but concern about the heart, the inward personality
Focus on the inward self is more fulfilling because physical appearance will fade away

God see the heart, not the physical appearance

Chicago trip 9-11 March 10

Finally i felt that i m in US..when i enter the downtown of Chicago.... =D

The feeling been in US is not so strong compare with staying in Carbondale
Chicago is way better, advance than Carbondale and KL (the capital city of Malaysia...)

I go to Chicago with Ps.Juan's family, he drive the van and everyone fit into one van...they was another family following us...all together 19 ppls...
We depart at 930am, and reached Chicago around 415pm...
Along the journey, we played a lot of game..
In order to kill time, we killed our brain cells so much to think of game to play...it's a long journey..
and among all the game that we play, the kids enjoyed "mafia" the most..haha. I never get bored of playing this game.. =D

When we arrived at Chicago, all of us already very hungry, so Ps.Juan decided to go eat Vietnamese noodles.. the noodle is good, and the portion is very big....

it like so long that i didnt take noodle with soup here in US..oh..it's good, when the hot soup go into yr stomach...

after filling our stomach, the day become dark and Ps.juan drive us around the downtown of chicago

it is beautiful..very beautiful in the night time...

i really felt that i m in the Top class of city..haha...

after that we straight away went to the house that we going to stay for two night...

We stayed in Anderson family, they are so nice that let us stay two night without paying ...

and they make us desert every night, and on the last day, they make us breakfast

They are very nice family. they offer their rooms and beds for us...is a very welcoming family...

May God blessings pour upon the family...

after settled down, we played phase 10 til late at night..

it was the first new game that i learnt here..haha

The next day, we went to China town to had DIM SUM!

we can have dim sum in US but the taste is not as good as in Malaysia...

Malaysia's food is the best.. =D

after breafast, we went to the Field Museum...

we spent some time outside of the museum coz the scenery is very nice...

we didn't go into the museum coz it cost $18 dollars...and need to take a lot of time to walk around in the museum..

so, we decided to go downtown of Chicago....

first destination is the Bean..

we went to the Willis Tower which is Sears Tower before. It is fifth tallest tower in the world, and used to be the first tallest building in the world

we spent the whole afternoon in the downtown of Chicago...

It's wat i see in the most of the western movie, the tower,street, building, people..

ya, to me, it felt like i m in US....

next stop, is China town..

we walked around the china town, but it was not the china town that i expected....

However, u can see chinese words, shop and restaurants...

We had Sechuan steamboat..it's pricy! eat untill i cnt breath, haha..coz it's buffet style...

after dinner we went bck to Anderson's house...spend one more night there, then the next day we are heading bck to Carbondale...

before leaving to Carbondale, we went to a Korean market, it is a big market..

a lot of stuff over there..and i found nice korea's bowl, plate, chopstick, spoon, fork and a lot of stuff...

the highlight of the journey was we had Papa Dale pizza

It was a wonderful trip..my first place of visit in US...i really like it...

First two days of my spring break

I need to move out from dorm during spring break...
I m blessed enough to stay with Ps.juan's family again.. =D
I really enjoys staying with them...
Because i can hang out with the children, have malaysian food, and the most important part is talking with this two person.. it's really refreshing to talk to them...u will learnt or gain something from the conversation.. i really enjoy the conversation that we had...

We help them to clean up the kitchen in the first day we came in, after few hours of washing and cleaning, the kitchen is clean.... haha... they are so busy with the conference that oi lin do not have time to clean the dishes.. and this is the time that we can offer our little help...
at night, we playing card game with kids..... we played heart attack, uno, and memory game...
i m glad the kids enjoyed it..and the kids invited me to sleep together with them..
haha..they like ppl to sleep with them... with this opportunity, i get to know them better coz we actually had a short time of asking and anwering the question before we got to sleep, it's a fun time..

The next day we spend the whole afternoon hanging out with mira, went to chinese restoran for lunch..the portion of their dishes is very big...

after that, we went to to the bubble tea again...er..the price is kind of like expensive if u convert to ringgit...not worth it to drink it here , once a while is ok, hehe~

i felt at peace at there

there's so long that i didnt find a place that can find the kind of peace

when the weather turn warm, is a good place to sit down and reflect your day, life..

is a nice place to read book or even do your devotion here...

and now i m excited for the chicago trip.. pray that the weather will be good and all of us have fun there...

Yuhooohhh!! Is spring break!!

Spring break! Spring break! 
Spring break starting today till next sun...
Before today, i m busy with exam and assign..
and when all the exam finished, oh, i m released...
Because of finished all the exam and is before spring break, chailian, yen and i went to Walmart...
This is the first time that we shop in the Walmart without worrying about time
Last few time, we visited in a rush...
This time we really take our time to shop and look things around....
Actually Walmart is a nice place to shop, can get cheap thing over here...
You can get $1 shirt, pants over here...and the quality not bad...
we spent around 3 hours and 30 mins in walmart...

After back from Walmart, we go to our room to eat and watch a movie: "vampire assistant"..

I love PPS stream...hahah...

The highlight of the day is...we attended a birthday party in the midnight...12 o'clock in the midnight..

I was surprise that people over here celebrate their birthday in the midnight...

well, when u hear that celebrating in the midnight, u would think that is having party..

just to let u know that the party in US is different from the party in M'sia..

In M'sia we have food,gather around, talk and play some game(maybe)..

Over here their party is wine, dance, loud music and craziness...

Before decided to attend the party, i already knew what kind of party they will have..

But, because of the birthday guy is my senior who help me a lot before and after i came to US...

thus, i have to attend..and i also want to experience how is it like the party over here...

While, after i went into the house who held the party, i told myself, i m not going to come to this kind of place again, unless i really really really need to..

The house is dark, just have few light bulb to light the house, the music is loud..

and everyone in the house is holding a cup with wine....

and they dance in the so called" dance floor"...

I felt that i  not belong to this "world", the party situation, coz i m not drinking any drink, dance or even eat the cake...

I just stand there and watched the ppl in the house...is like observing ppl..

haha..is kind of fun, coz i can see a lot of things...

when observing the ppl in the house, i was thinking why most of the godly ppl do not go to club? what will God think when He see this situation?

As in club can be one of the lifestyle, it is not wrong, everybody is relaxing themselves and enjoying themselve in the party. They didn't steal, kill, it is not a sin.. and why godly ppl don't like clubing?

This was my question when i first reach there..

And i think God showed me the answer after few minutes..

When the night get darker, more people came in, and that is when the party really start...

That atmosphere in the house starting to heat up...

They dance, they drink...

That time, i was like "ah-ha, it is the reason why they don't like to clubing."

i duno why they wan to dance in tht way, but that's how ppl will have one night stand...

i duno what is so good about wine, but that's how ppl get drunk...

Suddenly i know the answer...that's not wrong to drink, but not drunk..drunk will bring you disaster...

dancing is not wrong also, but please dance in a proper way...

All of this are human's action that make it to become wrong...

From that, i learnt that u really need God's hand when u go to that place and knowing your purpose of going that place...do not cross the border line....

It was a good experience to me..

Now, i know the American's life and more understand of myself that i m not suitable to go that kind of place...

And now is another new season...

Our Spring sister....welcome you back ..i m waiting you for so long... =D

-found this song few days ago, love this song, coz it is what i m going through right now..
-love the part of starting from" even though the journey is long, road is hard, He will help me cary on;..that i must i go through the valley..."
-"i must go through the valley", it reminds me of being the follower of Christ, you will face the tough time at least once in your life time..
-"to stand upon the mountian of God", it encourage me that after you go through the valley, victory will be on your side, your life will be full of God blessings..
-can u imagine how it is feel like when you come up from a valley and stand in the mountian?
-i can imagine that..i can imagine the peace i will have when i stand upon the mountain of God, the air which is fresh, the view which is awesome...full of God presence.. i can feel that...

- sadly, i didn't dare to step into the valley, i hold my steps.......
-i do not have enough faith to step into the valley, scare that i will never come out, scare that i will not survive

Faith is what i need the most now, God's word and presence and promisses is what i need to carry on in my shoulder everyday...

Is a very good song to hear when you're in tough situation..it encourage you that you 'are not alone..
