Bride. Bridegroom

This was a wonderful thought that came to me few days ago...
and finally i got the chance to write it here
summer school start, caught up with new schedule..
but, praise God, He help through it
without Him, i have no strength to go on the busy schedule...
ok, back to the topic..

When i did my devotion, a verse came up to me that we are the bride of Christ.
before that, my friend told me that we will be marry to Jesus
that time my reaction was like, oh..ok, that is sweet..end. that's it

After the verse came alive to me, i have different mindset
think of it, Jesus, a sinless man, Son of God, perfect man, a man who is love, patient and have every good character is your husband..
can you imagine that?
i just imagine that He is like a normal man, eat, drink, work,sleep and live together with me,just as normal marriage couple do
I was like, wow..that's is too  much....
I myself is a sinner, who is imperfect, have to live with a perfect man..that's is too much..
I'm not match with Him, this was my first reaction..
however, when i think it deeply, we should be grateful that we are chose by Him
by the grace of God, His Spirit who live in me will make me to be like Him.....
I thank God that at last i will be His bride, a perfect man....
This also mean, at this life, I have to be prepare that He will come to receive me any time...
Be prepare people, He will come any time soon...
Pray  at that time, I m ready to hold His hand...

besides that, it is inspiring to know that, i m person who will worry when thing not going in the right way, and He who is my husband will say : " Jing, don't worry about anything, give it all to Me, i will help you to carry all those burden, just rest in Me and trust Me."
oh~ how sweet it is, when your husband tell you like this, and you will have peace an truly rest in His shoulder
This was one of the beautiful thing about Jesus...
He is our bridegroom

Blueberry picking ~

Few days ago, went to blueberry farm to pick blueberry
was a very new experience...
it was fun.haha
never pick blueberry like this M'sia
So was very new to me.. =D
the day before we go to the farm
the weather forecast reported that, that day in the morning will rain and have thunder storm
as i know, the US forecast is very very accurate
all of us prayed very hard for a good weather
as we know, God is good =D
that morning didn't rain..was a very nice day to pick blueberry...=D
God is good. =D

20th

Officially, i m 20!
Yeah! Praise God that i live in this world for 20 years...
I felt so blessed that my first birthday in US was surround by wishes and celebration
Malaysians celebrate with me in the very first hour of my birthday
My housemate cook "mee sua" for me, thank you very much chailian and carol for helping chailian
CCF celebrate with me and steveenney make an awesome cake..
Basically is full of blessing and joy
the different of this year birthday is people surround me changed
the people used to celebrate with me changed
I miss all of them so much...
and my lovely family also...
if my family is with me right now will be perfect! wonderfully perfect!

Just want to say thank you to my heavenly Father

Thank You for created me

Thank You for binging me to this world

Thank You for You found me two years ago ( roughly)

Thank You for breathe into my life

Thank You for placing me in this family

Thank You for the people around me

Thank You for Your love

Thank You for Your mercy and grace

Thank You for listening  and answering to my prayer

Thank You for meeting my needs

Thank You for You are patience to me

Thank You for discipline me

Thank You for Your promises

Thank You for Your protection

Thank You for be with me all the times

and the most important thing is Thank You for sending Jesus Christ to die for us 

without knowing you and accepting you, i don't know how my life will be

Mayb it will better or worse than right now

However, accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior is the most correct decision that i make in my entire life

I never regret of choosing to walk this journey with Christ

It is not a smooth and easy journey

However it is a journey full of His love, mercy, grace and promises

My reading

Last week was a productive and busy week
This week is a productive and busy week also
Timetable is pack
and i no longer feel like the first time i reach here : do not know what to do..haha
well, God is good. =D

Finally, i got the chance to write post
this post is just simply want to share what some good books that i read

I finally finished Viktor E.Frankl's book " Man's Search For Meaning" three weeks ago, before the intercession start.. this book took me a semester to finish
Is not hard to read, but in fact it is a very inspiring book
Just that i didn't dedicate my time to finish it. so it took me one semester...

If you are a psychology major student, you SHOULD read this book
If you are not a psychology major student, you SHOULD read this book also
because the principal that mention in the book, is what we should carry in our daily life..
It is a classic book..
In this book, he wrote about his experience in the Nazi's concentration camp, and why it is important to have a purpose and meaning in your life..
In his book he quoted from Nietzsche :

"That which does not kill me, makes me stronger"

He also mention about the important of suffering

and he has different view suffering

It is a book that you should read in your life..

no matter how old you are, you should at least read this book once in your entire life

The other book that i like is "Tuesday with Morrie" by Mitch Albom

I love to read his book...

I bought his entire series of books

I just finished Tuesday with Morrie and The Five People You Meet in Heaven

currently i m reading Having a Little Faith ( my target is finish it before summer school start =D)

All his book is inspiring and make you ponder

Tuesday with Morrie is a light reading book yet it make you reflect your life 

You may not agree with what he said, but he make you think..

and i like the way he present in Tuesday with Morrie and Have a Little Faith

Because what he wrote is a true story and after you read one chapter, he will present his childhood experience or the person's life...

It is interesting to read his book

would like to share one of my favorite part in the book :
his teacher Morrie asked his student to do an so called group exercise. They have to stand and facing away from their classmates and fall back, relying student to catch them. One of the girl in the class, close her while she fall back...every student were shocked by her reaction, coz she is going to fall onto the ground if her partner does not catch her.. and Morrie said about this incident: you closed your eyes. That was the difference. Sometimes you cannot believe what you see, you have to believe what you feel. And if you are ever going to have other people trust you, you must feel that you can trust them , too-even wen you're in the dark. even when you 're falling"

Isn't it nice when you know that you have somebody to trust when you are in the dark or falling? you trust him that he will catch you, you trust him that he will find you, you trust him that he is with you...
Personally, from the statement that Morrie make, the first person that i can think of is Jesus
He is the only One in this world that you can trust when you are in the dark, when you are falling
Man can fail you, but Jesus don't
Jesus is the only One that will never abandon nor leave you
Jesus is the only One in this earth that you can  really trust, no matter what...

Hebrew13 : 5-"...For God has said," I will never leave you ; I will never abandon you."

This is a bold statement that He made and He will never violate what He has promise
He is a faithful God.

If you do not read or don't have the time to read

I would like to challenge you to read this two books

you will see how this two books change your life or your view about life 

Those two books are books that you MUST read.

I can't wait to finish "Have a Little Faith", 

i read it every night before i go to bed

Hope to finish before school start. =D

Praise Him through good and bad
Praise Him for what He had done in my life

It is human nature that when thing going well, we will take the credit for ourselve
But thing goes wrong, we will point the finger to somebody else, or blame God
Sometime we may doubt God why He let this kind of things happen, but there is two different kind of doubt.
The doubt that differentiate from one another is the motive behind your doubt
If you doubt God but your heart is full of blame or no matter what God answer your prayer, you will never listen to it. this is not the doubt that we should have.
The other doubt is you ask God why thing become like this but you didn't blame HIm, you still trust Him.

It is easy to praise God when thing is going well, or we get what we want
but it is hard to praise God when we are having difficult time.
Learn to praise God no matter what, for He had already done so much in your life
Just need to endure the tough time, and the victory is waiting behind the bad time

Thus, praise Him in any circumstances...
Be thankful all the time

Don't look at the thing you do not have, look at the thing you already have.

New Experience

Finally I have time to sit down and write a post
It has been a while since my last post
Was busy with moving out, moving in and working
Although I m busy for this few days, but I m grateful for what God had provided…

Last Saturday I moved out from dorm and move in to my new apartment
It is a nice apartment
Two bedroom, two bathroom, a living room, dining room , kitchen and balcony..
4 people is sharing one unit, so the rental fee is cheap
When I moving out and in, I found that moving is a tiring activity
Ya , it is excited to move into new place, that is what I felt at first
But, when I move all my stuff from one place to another, is a very tiring process
Thank god that our place is already furnished, if not, there is more for me to move
After we got everything settle, we start to clean the house
Everyone had their own duty, and I was in charge of the kitchen
I enjoyed cleaning and decorating the kitchen
Before we start cleaning, we went to walmart to get all the stuff that we need
After that we start cleaning and unpacking
We finished cleaning and unpacking on sun, it took us about two days to clean, unpacking and buy things for our house such as cooking utensils, food, cleaning utensils and so on
At the end of sun, all of us were very tired
Everything in the apartment work fine just have something need to be fix
But, the worse part is, the Internet connection..
The connection is same like m’sia
Slow and inconsistent
That is the only sad part of moving into the new house
I could not on9, skype ..
It is very inconvenient for me
Hope after few days the connection will become better
One nice thing of living in the apartment is I have to cook myself
On Tuesday, I being able to cook simple meal for 3 person
One soup, and two dishes
Praise god that I able to cook ( funny thing was I was so worry tht time that I couldn’t cook a proper meal, I prayed before I cook, thank god that it turn out good! I love my ABC soup. =)
From there I understand how my mum feels like, coz wan to cook for 5 of us is not an easy job
U have to think what to cook and not repeating yesterday dishes
I really found that my mum was great that she being able to do that everyday
She cook two meals per day and sometime 3 meals per day
I only cook one time and eat for two meals
I can foresee that when class start, I will be lazy to cook
Besides that , by the grace of god I started work on Monday
My supervisor is a very nice Christian guy
He take care of me very much
On the first day of working, he called to check whether the paper work settle already and whether I know to get to the working place..( he worried I get lost, haha)
We have supper break for 30mins, because on mon is my first time working there, I don’t know have break, so I didn’t bring any food
That I went to library hope to get some food, but the restaurant in the library closed down
When I got back to the working place, my supervisor asked whether I have eaten.
Of course I answered no
And he offered me food
In addition, he asked me every night about how m I going back
He concern of my safety
He is such a good boss
Although the job will be boring, coz I m doing it daily, but I think work under him is a blessing also

I really thank god for providing me this job
I believe He has purpose for me to work with my boss
Coz work as janitor is my last option
Before that , I apply two jobs, but somehow there is no reply from one of the job and the other job is paper work issue
He close all the door and open one door for me
I really thank God for that

Apartment life looks fun and interesting
But it need wisdom to live with 3 people
4 people, 4 believe, 4 principle, 4 habits
That is the thing I need to learn to live with 3 different people
Is not easy to live with 3 different people
But I think it is what god want me to learn from this experience
To be more like Jesus
Enjoying apartment life~

Is Time for a Break~

yahuh!!! finally i finished my last paper this morning....
God is good... hope that i will get a good result for this subject. =)
After finished the last paper, i suddenly felt my burden on my shoulder become lighter...
although final is finished,but i still have some thing need to do..which is find a job for this summer
I found that find a job is not an easy thing...
send an email to a possible future employer, however waited for 3 days still have no reply..
Feel a bit nervous...
But i know, God is in control..
He will provide me the way and the best job which is suitable for me
What i need to do is keep asking around and pray for favor..
I put my faith in my Father and trust in Him...
as He promised
He will take care of everything of me
as He always does

Late in this afternoon, my friend found out that Starbuck is having promotion till this Sunday that from 3-5pm, all the drink is half of the price!!!!!
So i got a straberry frapp. with just only $1.96!!! convert to RM is just only RM6.72!!!!!!
It's very very cheap!!!!
back in M'sia, when i want to drink starbuck, i have to think twice bcs for me it is an "expensive" drink.
However right here, i can drink whenever i want( do not need to think twice). =p

ahh...it is good to just sit down under the sun, drink Starbuck's frappucino, experience the calm and peace to compensate the stress that i had for this few week..hahahah

while, just take a break and drink startbuck!

ah ha~ next time i should choose a quiet place, sit on the grass, under the sun, drink a cup a mocha frappuccino and do my devotion..
hm...sound great~ haha
yes, nextime i should do this.. hahaha
