Power of Words

Sometimes when you says something out of love, although the intention is good, but it still can ruin the person.

Effort that you made all this while, can turn in to zero or worst become negative with just a few words.

Although the intention is good, but the recipient need to start all over again to climb the mountain.

Words kill or build.

Realize that speaker should  not be the one to be blame, because recipient have the choice of how to interpret the message.

Just that  recipient need to take extra effort to change the perception. Recipient have the responsibility and choice. Not always is the victimized.

Don't always point finger on others of what others do to you or cause you become like that.
You have the choice of how to process the information, is either you allow the words to kill you, or the words to build you.

Recipient - you have the choice.

The First Phone Call from Heaven

Never read fiction book, but only books by Mitch Albom. 

I read almost all his book, never miss one. 

Like some of the review said, he able to touch the heart with his writing. 

His recent book- first phone call from Heaven, is another must read book. 

From the book, he able to describe the event with details. What i like about the book is he is able to describe human nature by showing how people react to the event. Different people, different character, different reaction. All reveal under the sun, no under the table, no covering. 

The book challenge your mind, your faith. It make you think about life, death and afterlife.  

Another highlight of the book is I never expect the author will have such a twist at the end of the story. Which explain all. No life stand alone. Your life story is like a chain, all life story interconnected to one another.  

The impact of the book vary from reader to reader, but you'll take away something. At the very least, it will make you doubt; make you think about faith, heaven, afterlife and forgiveness. 

Love Song

A song that I found a year ago.

It is a song by my all time favorite worship leader- Jon Thurlow

First time I heard I was ministered by it.

A year ago, as I listened to the song, is like I want to see God's face, wanting to see God, seeking God. Ps: that time, I could not find the lyrics, so I had a hard time to really get the lyrics.
But all I know is when I was seeking Lord, I will always sing this song.

However, just recently I found the lyrics, and listen to Jon, how he birthed this song.
Then I realized, this song is not we singing to God only.... The origin of the song is God singing to us!
God is singing, telling you, ' hey, I want to see your face.. Come to Me'
When I hear the song again, I melted. God is pursuing me...God wants to see my face...
I was ministered once again, in a whole new level....

Can you imagine how sweet it is when a all Mighty God want to see your face personally?

To me, it's A Love Song from God.

A Day to Remember

4th April 2015(Saturday)

A day that I should remember. As in my 25 years of life, today is my very first time where I choose to have lunch alone in a restaurant.

As I  could not eat alone in restaurant, if I have to eat alone , I would rather eat at home. But today, it was strange, as I choose to eat alone. I didn't even feel uncomfortable or reluctant to eat alone. I am at peace!!

I went to the Korean  restaurant in Tropicana- Oiso, pick a place and sit down.
I ordered.
I observed a while.
Then I read a book.
I didn't just play with my phone.
I was very comfortable with myself.
I don't have the feeling of like how others will see me if I eat alone( which I used to think before )
I don't feel awkward.

I not very clear why I will be like that, not sure it is because I grow older? Or I kind secure with myself already... But this really mark a significant milestone in my life. =p

As recently, I am thinking.... In order to be a whole person, I don't have to depends on others, to be happy or contented. I will be contented or happy even is just myself. I know where to look for, who to look for, if I need to. Most importantly, my happiness ;my worth, is not depends on others.  Not depends on how many friends I have, not depends on whether I have lunch partner or not.
Most important is how I see myself and how God sees me. =)

Weakness

The world’s philosophy says,
“What can’t be cured must be endured.”
But in BIble,says the opposite. What can’t be cured makes us dependent on the power of God. In that dependency, His power is given and we are made strong. I’ve come to learn this truth myself. God doesn’t always remove me from my painful circumstances, but He supports me in them. This strengthens me like none other. This is our God. Who faithfully hold us in His hands.

Crazy Night

Do u dare to wear pyjamas in public?

the pyjamas is not just t-shirt and pants...is a real pyjamas.

This is what we do last night.

Wearing pyjamas having steamboat in a steamboat restaurant.

pay attention on what we are wearing (>.-)

before this, they were very very reluctant to wear,

they said they don't have pyjamas at home

which is true because most of the guy dont have pyjamas,

their pyjamas is just a t-shirt and short pants.

But thanks to st, she bought those pyjamas for them

So, they have to wear it. hahah

suit him right. haha ( i chose this pyjamas for him =p)

this was a memorable night, i dare to say that nobody did this before, wearing pyjamas in public plus having steamboat... haha and we did it. 07's Jit Sin Scout really awesome!!!!! 

all of this, we have to thanks to our leong shu tszeeer who plan this event. without her, i don't have such a memorable night.
