Life is full of lots of hope and blessing
those photos are taken today in the campus
the weather is nice and we discover that the flowers starting to coming out
it's beautiful

When i walked around the campus( just a corner of the campus, not even half of it),

i felt that life is not just come and go
there are a lot of blessing that yet to discover
just like the flowers and the tree
i found that it's beautiful
and i m so thankful for all the good thing around me
today i just found that not only people is a blessing to me

flowers and trees can be a blessing to me too( weird right? i also duno y, that's what i felt that time)

We need to cultivate a thankful heart 

so that we will find out that everything in this world is a blessing to us
and enjoy LIFE

Open your heart

Humble your spirit

Be right with your thought

 enjoy the creation of the Most High God

and thank Him for this life.

Pride

When all goes well and I feel strong,

pride is the root of all great mistakes...

pride will blind us of looking more option and alternative..

pride make us so confidence about ourselves that we can do anything with our own strength..

It's dangerous when one develop pride in his heart, and believe that he can do anything in the world..

When we are success in doing something, by human nature we will give credit of ourselves and proud of ourselves..

It's not wrong to happy about your achievement, but the problem comes when you give the credit to ourselves...

Pride deceive us that we are our own master...

We forget that all this is given by the ONE who give you life, give you everything, including your success....

We are so fragile that we will be trap by pride...more often we feel good about believing ourselves that we can do anything without somebody help..

Here the problem come, the desire of feeling good often lead us to forget God's grace...

We will do thing that is not pleasing to Him and exclude Him from our life..

and slowly, you will be lead to a valley by our pride...

Element to defeat pride is Humble. 

Die to yourself and be humble..

Pride will lead you to the darkness...

Humility will lead to the light and glory of God...

 

Behind the building

Today when do my devotion, this passage spoke to me so much that i would to share over here :


Where we were working was hot, dirty and it smelled bad. We had traveled thousands of miles to do some work projects and on this day we were painting the back of a classroom building at a school for the deaf. The only people who would ever see this part of the building would be the guy who cut the grass and any unfortunate person who would have to work on the septic pit.


Yet, as the young adults diligently painted away, one of the girls, Melissa, put it in perspective by saying : "Nobody will ever come back here to see this, but God will see it. So, let's make it look nice. "

 At times we will think that things that we do is under the table, no one notice it. That time we will feel disappointed, because you didnt get any praise or appreciation from others.
So, in order to feel good about ourselves, we tend to do thing that people easy to recognize your effort.
If you do thing that people not easy recognize yr effort, you will have the thinking of " people do not know my effort, so i do not need to put so much effort on it." So, u simply do the job...
Even somebody not bother to do the work that is unrecognized..

For those who willing to do anything especially the small thing that hardly being sees by people, they should rejoice..
For those who only do thing that will bring fame, popularity to them, they have trouble...
Because God SEES...
He sees everything that you have done, whether is small thing or big thing.. He sees..


Never overlook your work in this world, little thing you do in earth is counted in God's eyes, He will record down everything , good and bad...
After knowing that everything is counted in His eyes, we should fear the Lord...
This will help us to hate the evil things and only obey His commands..
Obey His Words keep us from disaster...

Though others may not observe us

and see how we serve God today,

Our job as servants of Jesus

is to please Him in every way.

I have a personal hairstylist. =D

My hair was so thick till Chai Lian could not tahan that she brave enough to volunteer herself to cut

 my hair...to be on the save side, she went to search the video of cutting hair in youtube..
So, i just got to buy a pair of scissor and the hair's clips only to have a a hair cut..

overall, chailian did a good job, i like it, just that the front of my hair too short and flat already...
because of that, my face look roound...everybody saw my hair ended up with a laugh...

haiz..wat to do, i m too entertaining already... =DD

some said they are not use to c my hair like this, some say not nice...

Nvm, the important thing is i m happy with it...
Learning to be secure of myself and don't care others's view
As long as i m satisfy and happy, and it do not hurt ppl eyes, then everything will be ok.

Learn to be contended and secure of myself. 

Do not focus on the outward appearance, but concern about the heart, the inward personality
Focus on the inward self is more fulfilling because physical appearance will fade away

God see the heart, not the physical appearance

Chicago trip 9-11 March 10

Finally i felt that i m in US..when i enter the downtown of Chicago.... =D

The feeling been in US is not so strong compare with staying in Carbondale
Chicago is way better, advance than Carbondale and KL (the capital city of Malaysia...)

I go to Chicago with Ps.Juan's family, he drive the van and everyone fit into one van...they was another family following us...all together 19 ppls...
We depart at 930am, and reached Chicago around 415pm...
Along the journey, we played a lot of game..
In order to kill time, we killed our brain cells so much to think of game to play...it's a long journey..
and among all the game that we play, the kids enjoyed "mafia" the most..haha. I never get bored of playing this game.. =D

When we arrived at Chicago, all of us already very hungry, so Ps.Juan decided to go eat Vietnamese noodles.. the noodle is good, and the portion is very big....

it like so long that i didnt take noodle with soup here in US..oh..it's good, when the hot soup go into yr stomach...

after filling our stomach, the day become dark and Ps.juan drive us around the downtown of chicago

it is beautiful..very beautiful in the night time...

i really felt that i m in the Top class of city..haha...

after that we straight away went to the house that we going to stay for two night...

We stayed in Anderson family, they are so nice that let us stay two night without paying ...

and they make us desert every night, and on the last day, they make us breakfast

They are very nice family. they offer their rooms and beds for us...is a very welcoming family...

May God blessings pour upon the family...

after settled down, we played phase 10 til late at night..

it was the first new game that i learnt here..haha

The next day, we went to China town to had DIM SUM!

we can have dim sum in US but the taste is not as good as in Malaysia...

Malaysia's food is the best.. =D

after breafast, we went to the Field Museum...

we spent some time outside of the museum coz the scenery is very nice...

we didn't go into the museum coz it cost $18 dollars...and need to take a lot of time to walk around in the museum..

so, we decided to go downtown of Chicago....

first destination is the Bean..

we went to the Willis Tower which is Sears Tower before. It is fifth tallest tower in the world, and used to be the first tallest building in the world

we spent the whole afternoon in the downtown of Chicago...

It's wat i see in the most of the western movie, the tower,street, building, people..

ya, to me, it felt like i m in US....

next stop, is China town..

we walked around the china town, but it was not the china town that i expected....

However, u can see chinese words, shop and restaurants...

We had Sechuan steamboat..it's pricy! eat untill i cnt breath, haha..coz it's buffet style...

after dinner we went bck to Anderson's house...spend one more night there, then the next day we are heading bck to Carbondale...

before leaving to Carbondale, we went to a Korean market, it is a big market..

a lot of stuff over there..and i found nice korea's bowl, plate, chopstick, spoon, fork and a lot of stuff...

the highlight of the journey was we had Papa Dale pizza
the pizza is very different from the pizza that we use to eat,  picture speak =)

It was a wonderful trip..my first place of visit in US...i really like it...
